X SERIES

Martin’s innovative and affordably priced acoustic guitar. Martin Guitars has

long recognized the serious nature of the earth’s dwindling resources and has

focused attention on alternative materials. The breakthrough ‘X Series’ features

guitars that are constructed with a combination of highly compressed wood

bers (high-pressure laminate, called HPL) and traditional tonewoods. HPL is

an extremely durable and workable material. What’s more they’ve managed

to build them so they possess the ‘famous’ Martin sound and playability found

in more expensive guitars. Common features: wood composite laminate body

construction, patented neck Mortise, unique DX-bracing on models with HPL

tops. X series do not come with carrying case.

1 SERIES

Martin’s new series of four premium quality guitars constructed of solid tone-

woods and designed for real player value. Never has so much Martin craftsman-

ship, innovation and pure, clear tone been offered at such an affordable price.

15 SERIES

With its all-solid mahogany construction and simple appointments, the

D-15 is reminiscent of the style-15 guitars of the 1940s and marks the

reintroduction of mahogany top guitars to Martin’s product line, with hard

shell case.

16 SERIES

Combines the simple elegance of traditional Martin design with patented

D-1 style structural improvements and represents an excellent value in an

all solid wood instrument. The 16 series provisions you with black body

binding, an actual striped ebony fretboard & bridge and an East Indian

rosewood headplate. Real wood makes you feel good.

Little Martin

While the LITTLE MARTIN is

their smallest guitar, it’s very

big on tone, quality and versa-

tility. It’s ideal for travel, student

practice or for just playing around

the house or the campre.With the

exception of the LX1 and LX1E,

which feature a solid wood top,

Little Martin models are built of

durable patented high-pressure

laminate (HPL) and other

state-of-the-art synthetics.

The LXME and LX1E are

equipped with Fishman®

Mini Q electronics. Sup-

plied with a rugged,

padded gig bag with

backpack straps

. 

Just about any model C. F. Martin has made in the past, that is no longer offered as standard (or variations from the standard spec.),

STANDARD SERIES

This series constitutes the historic core of

the Martin line. These guitars represent the

majority of sizes and styles that have evolved

during the past century. They are known for

resonant warmth of tone with tastefully restrained

styling, with a molded hard shell case. Each is

made with dovetail joint that assures the greatest

transference of tonal density from neck to body.

All gloss body nish, all solid woods, and a level

of attention to detail that has dened the Martin

Guitar Company for the past 173 years makes the

Standard Series a bona de bargain.

VINTAGE SERIES

These ne instruments draw their

inspiration from the elegant vintage

designs and appointments of the pre-WW

II era. Common features: old-style squared

headstock, modied V-shaped neck, period

ngerboard inlays, scalloped bracing,

beveled edge tortoise colored pickguard,

old-style, yet removable, drop-in long or

through saddle, aging toner lacquer on

soundboard, vintage style tuning machines

and a handsome Geib Style™ case.
